Peach blossomsstart to bloom 2-3 weeks in season before cherry blossoms do, and people all around Japan love them as much as their Cherry cousin the Sakura, the practice of picnicking under a full bloom of peach blossoms is also called 'hanami'.
The flowers are produced in early spring before the leaves; they are solitary or paired, 2.5–3 cm diameter, pink, with five petals. The fruit has yellow or whitish flesh, a delicate aroma, and a skin that is either velvety (peaches) or smooth (nectarines). Peaches are commonly eaten raw after being peeled. Japanese peaches are in season during the summer. Shimizu peaches are white peaches that can cost up to $24.96 USD per peach.
🌸Cherry Blossoms 桜 (sakura)
Cherry blossoms, most referred to as Sakura, are Japan's most prized flowers that bloom during the winter. The culture dates back to an era of ancient Japan where they would feast and drink under a grove full of cherry blossom trees. This practice was called 'hanami' and as such, the Imperial rulers promoted the planting of vast fields of Sakura trees so that people could gather and feast and drink wine. Under the sakura trees, people had lunch and drank sake in cheerful feasts. They give off a pleasant scent, and the beautiful petals can lift anyone's mood up as they flutter through the wind.
🌸Plum Blossoms 梅 (ume)
Japanese plum, and Japanese apricot have a distinct blossom.The flower, long a beloved subject in the traditional painting and poetry of East Asia, is usually called plum blossom. This distinct tree species is related to both the plum and apricot trees.The flowers are 2–2.5 centimetres (0.79–0.98 in) in diameter and have a strong fragrant scent. They have colors in varying shades of white, pink, and red. The leaves appear shortly after the petals fall, are oval-shaped with a pointed tip and the fruit ripens in early summer.
The tree's flowering in late winter and early spring is highly regarded as a seasonal symbol.

HOT - Will only react to HOT liquids. All Sakura, Peach, and Plum will change into a LIGHT PINK blossom.
DUAL (HOT & COLD) - Will react to BOTH HOT & COLD liquids. All Sakura, Peach, and Plum will bloom LIGHT PINK when HOT, and a detailed BLUE when it is COLD.

Crafted and hand painted by local Japanese artisans, inspired by artworks painted byKitagawa Utamaro. Each'o-choko'(sake cup) Sakazuki is painted with a special non-toxicthermochromicpigment ink, and then coated with afood grade clear ceramic glaze, to seal in the color changing ink.
Color Changing Feature:The color changes when the temperature of the hot color changing cup is above103°F, and the color changes when the temperature of the cold color changing cup is below70.5℉. The pigment is: temperature-sensitive materials are painted on the cup body and coated with a clear glaze, the materials used are heat-sensitive materials, high temperature resistance of608 °F,non-toxic, , BPA-free, lead-free, chromium-free and meets the FDA/EU standards.
Due to the delicatethermal reaction, there are cases where certain parts of the world are too hot or too cold that the cups arrive fully bloomed and activated out of the box. In this case, we recommend to serve them at a different season or apply a heating or cooling method to reset the cups back to original blank white with branches. Gentle hand wash is recommended to preserve the longevity of the cups and ink design, dishwash is not recommended.
